HLTAID009 – Provide CPR
Learn to perform CPR in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines — essential for workplaces and community responders.
Course Overview
This course is designed for students with limited or no CPR experience. It includes extra learning time for full understanding of CPR language, equipment, and technique. A Refresher CPR option is available for those who wish to renew their certification.

Students will complete the nationally accredited unit:
HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
What You'll Learn
This unit covers the skills and knowledge to provide CPR in a variety of emergency situations. It is suitable for any worker or individual who may be required to respond to health emergencies in the workplace or community.
Entry Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must pass a Language, Literacy & Numeracy (LLN) test
- Must be able to attend scheduled sessions
- Must be physically capable of 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR and manual handling of mannequins
- Reasonable adjustments may be available on request
Course Delivery & Location
The course is delivered in a face-to-face classroom setting with a mix of theory and hands-on practical activities led by a qualified trainer and assessor. Courses are offered year-round at multiple locations, including on-site delivery for workplaces.
